We recently published some statements on our website concerning Manly Yacht Club. We accept that those statements were wrong, and withdraw what we said. The arrangement between The Big Blue and Manly Yacht Club is now terminated, and we will have nothing further to say on the matter"

We have been informed by the President of Manly Yacht Club Ian Dennewald to post this statement supplied by Ian for one month starting from 9th of August although we have not seeked legal advice ourselves and we take it in good faith that we crossed the line. We look forward to putting this behind us and hope to continue to help kids get into the sport of sailing in Narrabeen in the near future. We will therefore not be able to continue with the School Sailing programs in the Manly Cove area effecting over 200 school children each week during the summer.
Only the Manly 16 ft Skiff Club currently have a running learn to sail program, which appears to be very good. If you are interested in sailing in Manly cove then please contact the sailing manager at the Manly 16 ft Skiff Club
