Welcome to The Big Blue Sailing School website.
The Big Blue Sailing School has been operating sailing lessons out of Manly Cove for 8 years and we believe it has the best sailing conditions in Sydney, right at our door step. Our two S80 are the ideal training vessels and were specially adapted for the Introduction to sailing and Competent Crew level of sailing. For Inshore Skipper we believe a bigger boat is important, we are currently using a Catalina 34 for this course.
The two S80 now have new sails and are performing even better so we are now offering Racing to our sailing calendar. The two big events are the Audi Regatta in March and the Musto/Sturrocks Woman challenge. One boat will be working the Manly Yacht Club Club champion series during the summer months and the Winter series during the winter months. Contact us today for Race details. Craig Rosevear is the School Director and Principal Instructor, having 30 years of sailing under his belt. After sailing around the world with the Sultan of Malaysia for two years and later with private Yachts. Craig has sailed over 100,000 nautical miles around the world. 30,000 miles in his Crusing Catamaran through the Pacific. Craig brings a wealth of sailing experience to The Big Blue Sailing School and all it's students.
