charter bookingconditions
confirmations:
bookings cannot be confirmed until a 50% deposit is received.
payments:
full payment is required prior to departure.
bond payments:
are held for 14 days. credit card bonds for the yachts are authorised but not banked. the voucher is voided and returned to you unless the yacht is damaged. personal and company cheques are not acceptable for bond payment.
cancellation:
require 30 days notice prior to departure in writing. you will be required to produce written acknowledgement of your cancellation request for refunds to take place. all refunds incur 10% administration fee. if you cannot give 30 days notice for cancellation or postponement the deposit will be forfeited and no refunds available without exception.
inclement or unsafe weather:
the big blue yacht charter determines the suitability of conditions and the possibility of postponement on the day of the charter. in the case of an approved postponement, the deposit will be held by the big blue yacht charter for a future booking minus a 10% administration fee plus the full amount of any catering and 2 hours of skipper fees. the remaining deposit will be held for 6 months following the postponement.
rain / wet weather:
the big blue yacht charter do not considered rain a reason for charter to be cancelled,there fore there is no refund due to rain or showers.
vessel:
the big blue yacht charter reserves the right to change a charterer's booked vessel to another vessel with as similar size and / or style as possible.
attire:
please ensure your guests do not wear black soled shoes or hard shoes as these can mark the decks or damage the varnish work. comfortable clothing is recommended.
catering:
it is self catering.

there is 2hr free parking across the road. there are are number of parking stations in manly. to view click here
charter area and overnight charters:
under no circumstances are the yachts allowed offshore. for overnight bare boat charters yachts must not move between sunset and sunrise.
our contract expressly forbids docking at most jetties or wharves. dinghies are available at no additional cost, or water taxis can be contacted via the radio on your yacht at additional cost. docking damage is the greatest (and most expensive) risk to your bond.
surcharges and special conditions:
apply to boxing day, new years period and australia day.
direct credit facilities available, payments using this method should be made at least
72 hours prior to the charter. payment is also available by mastercard, visa, bankcard, amounts over $1000 attract a credit card fee of 2%. cash is accepted. personal and company cheques are acceptable only if paid 7 days prior to charter.
